Here’s every B1G record Caitlin Clark toppled during the 2022-23 season

Caitlin Clark has been brilliant for Iowa all season long. In fact, that sentence stands as an understatement when her full body of work is examined.
Clark reigns as the top player in the sport after capturing the 2023 Naismith Trophy earlier this week. If there was any doubt about her worthiness for the honor, she erased that with a 41-point outing vs. South Carolina as Iowa marched past the Gamecocks and into the national final.
So far in the NCAA Tournament, Clark has produced the first-ever instance of a 40-point triple-double in March Madness. She followed that up by setting the Final Four record with 41 points in Friday’s national semifinal victory.
In the process, Clark also became the only player in NCAA Tournament history with back-to-back games of at least 40 points.

Following Friday’s performance, Clark also holds the single-season B1G records in 3 key categories. She became the conference’s season record holder for points scored with 1,025 and is just the 6th D-I player all-time with 1,000 points in a season.
Clark’s 319 assists on the season are another B1G season record and a mark that ties for 9th in NCAA history. A long-range sniper, Clark has another B1G record with 132 made 3-pointers.
Caitlin Clark’s new season totals:
1,025 points (Big Ten record, 5th in NCAA history)
319 assists (Big Ten record, T-9th in NCAA history and would climb to 4th with 4 more)
132 3-pointers (Big Ten record, most ever by power-conference player)

Clark will get one final game to try and improve those numbers with the ultimate goal of a national title in reach against LSU.
