Caitlin Clark is continuing to make history.

The Iowa guard broke the NCAA tournament record for 3-pointers made in a single NCAA Tournament on Sunday vs. LSU. Clark hit 4 long balls in the 1st quarter, but it was her 1st make that gave her a record-breaking 25 3-pointers in the tournament.

Clark breaks a record that was set just 2 days ago by Virginia Tech guard Georgia Amoore. Amoore hit 24 3-pointers during the NCAA Tournament as she helped lead the Hokies to their 1st Final Four appearance in program history.

Clark’s historic run to the National Championship Game has been well-chronicled. She scored 41 points in back-to-back wins over Louisville and South Carolina to get to this point.

So far this tournament, Clark hit 3 3-pointers against Southeastern Louisiana, 4 against Georgia, 4 against Colorado, 8 against Louisville and 5 against South Carolina.

Iowa is playing for the National Championship for the 1st time in program history.
