Snyder suffered an ACL injury last spring, which was expected to keep him sidelined for the entire season. But a quick recovery allowed him to make an appearance earlier this season when the Hawkeyes played Illinois. In that game, the safety looked like he was fully recovered, recording a pick-six against the Illini.
But Snyder hasn’t seen the field since that game and won’t return this fall.
Snyder’s season will end with three tackles, two pass break-ups and an interception in his one appearance.
