Wisconsin picked up a nice win on the recruiting trail Wednesday evening, landing a commitment from a 3-star prospect out of Bay Port High School.
The player is Landon Gauthier, a 3-star linebacker for the 2024 recruiting class. Gauthier held other offers from Minnesota, Syracuse, Stanford, Wyoming, North Dakota State and Ohio at the time of his commitment.
“Thank you to all of my coaches throughout my years of athletics who have played a huge part in my development as an athlete and as a man,” wrote Gauthier. I would also like to show my gratitude to my family and friends for believing in me… This has been an unbelievably exciting journey. With that being said, I am blessed to announce my commitment to the University of Wisconsin!”
