Gideon Davidson, 4-star 2025 RB out of Virginia, names 3 Big Ten teams among top 10

Gideon Davidson, a 4-star running back out of Lynchburg, Virginia (Liberty Christian Academy), has narrowed his list of schools to 10, and 3 hail from the Big Ten.
Davidson, who is listed at 6 foot and 193 pounds, has named Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State in a group with Clemson, Oregon, Southern Cal, Colorado, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Iowa State. He’s ranked the No. 3 running back in the Class of 2025 by the 247Sports Composite, the No. 2 player in the state of Virginia, and the No. 38 player in America in his class. He has a reported 18 offers.
A portion of his 247Sports Scouting Report described him this way: “Has verified size with frame to continue to add mass. Has multi-sport profile with strong build. Speed markers include 10.69 in 100 meters and 20-7 long jump. Has two-way snaps as safety. Big production with 1,241 yards and 19 touchdowns while averaging more than 11 yards per carry as freshman.”
