Iowa adds to 2024 recruiting class with RB commitment

Iowa has a running back on board for its 2024 recruiting class.
Xavier Williams announced his pledge to play for the Hawkeyes on Saturday. The Saint John (Indiana) Lake Central standout shared the big news on his Twitter account.

Williams is listed at 6-feet, 220 pounds. He is rated 3-stars, the No. 13 Indiana product and No. 69 running back in the 2024 recruiting class by 247Sports.
Williams has picked up 10 scholarship offers during his recruitment. He also had interest from Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Indiana State, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), Northern Illinois, Toledo and Western Michigan.
Iowa extended its offer to Williams on March 29.
