Kendric Pryor has no problems filling the void at receiver after leading pass-catcher Quintez Cephus was ruled out for the season. He showed off just a little bit of his ability in the first half against Iowa.
In the second quarter, the Badgers were just 12 yards from the end zone, looking to take a two-possession lead over the Hawkeyes. That’s when Alex Hornibrook fired a pass to Pryor in the end zone. The ball was slightly underthrown, but the receiver was able to make a nice adjustment and haul in the football over an Iowa defender.
The touchdown gave Wisconsin a 17-7 lead.

Pryor had just six receptions for 80 yards on the season coming into Saturday’s matchup against the Hawkeyes. That was the first touchdown reception of the season.
That was Pryor’s only catch of the first half, but it came at a good time.
