Wisconsin’s defense doesn’t want to be outdone by Iowa.
Late in the third quarter, when the Hawkeyes were putting together their best drive of the game, Badgers linebacker T.J. Edwards made an incredible play to halt the Iowa possession. It might even make its way to SportsCenter by the end of the college football Saturday.
A pass from Iowa quarterback Nate Stanley appeared to be just out of reach of Edwards, but the Badger fully extended and was able to get a few fingertips on the ball. But Edwards wasn’t satisfied with a simple deflection and got his arms under the ball and made the catch.

That was the fourth interception of the season for Edwards, who has put together a nice season for the Badgers. In addition to the picks, he’s also tallied 44 stops, 5.5 tackles for loss and has broken up four passes.
Wisconsin went on to turn that turnover into seven points, giving the Badgers a 31-14 lead over the Hawkeyes in the fourth quarter.
