Ohio State is one of five finalists for Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas running back Jordan Lyle.

A 4-star running back in the 2024 class, Lyle revealed his finalists on Monday. He has the Buckeyes listed alongside Alabama, Georgia, Miami, and Florida State.

Lyle is a 6-foot, 190-pound running back who enjoyed a breakout junior season for St. Thomas Aquinas. As a sophomore, he worked in a rotation for Florida’s 7A state champions and recorded just 225 rushing yards and 2 scores. But as a junior, he took on more of a role in the offense and responded with 1,015 yards and 12 touchdowns on 91 carries.

He’s ranked as the No. 28 running back in the Class of 2024 by the industry-generated 247 Composite. The Composite also has him ranked as the No. 49 prospect from the state of Florida and the No. 320 overall recruit in the class.

Lyle is scheduled to take an official visit to Ohio State the first weekend of June. He was also in Columbus on an unofficial at the end of March.

The Buckeyes currently hold verbal pledges from 4-star Texas running back James Peoples and 3-star Ohio running back Sam Williams-Dixon. You can view Lyle’s highlight tape below, via Hudl:
