Booger McFarland joined ‘McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning’ on Thursday to discuss the recent falling draft stock of C.J. Stroud. Many people have been discussing where Stroud should go.

McFarland believes that the reason that Stroud’s stock has fallen as of late isn’t because people have cooled on the former Ohio State QB.

“It isn’t because people have cooled on him, it’s because beauty is in the eye of the beholder in who’s picking. So if Houston is picking No. 2 and the rumors are that the OC and GM didn’t have a great visit with CJ, then they’re not gonna take him. So has he cooled or just fallen out of favor with Houston? Arizona doesn’t need a quarterback at three which leaves Indianapolis at four. Between Peyton Manning and Ballard they seem to reached a consensus on taking Will Levis over Stroud. It just depends on who’s picking.”

Ohio State fans will have to wait and see just where Stroud ends up. If what McFarland says is true, then it very well may depend on the team that is on the clock. The 2023 NFL Draft kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network.
