Jordan Geronimo arrived at Indiana as a 4-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. Unfortunately, he mainly saw action as a reserve in 3 seasons for the Hoosiers before entering the transfer portal.

On Saturday, Geronimo officially announced his next move, and he will be staying in the B1G for the 2023-24 season. Geronimo announced he’s committing to Maryland where he will play for head coach Kevin Willard.

“Dear Hoosier Nation, First off, I want to say thank you for all the love and support you guys had shown me during my three years as a Hoosier,” wrote Geronimo. “However, after much thought and consideration, I have decided to play for the University of Maryland next season!”

Indiana will face Maryland twice in the upcoming season, so Hoosier fans will get to see Geronimo return to Assembly Hall when the two sides face off in Bloomington.

Geronimo appeared in 82 career games for the Hoosiers with just 6 starts during the 2022-23 season. He’s a career 53% shooter from the field while shooting 31% from 3-point range with averages of 3.8 points and 2.7 rebounds.
