Ohio State has had a busy Saturday on the recruiting trail. The Buckeyes have landed a pair of commitments for 2023 and 2024.

Lorenzo Styles, a former Notre Dame wide receiver who played defensive back this spring, is continuing his career at OSU. Styles excelled at both positions at Pickerington (Ohio) Central.

Styles played in 26 games for the Irish over 2 seasons, making 8 starts in 2022. Styles has 54 catches for 684 yards and 2 touchdowns in his college career. He has 2 remaining full seasons of eligibility.

The Buckeyes also added to the 2024 class with a new commitment. Jordan Lyle, a running back out of Florida powerhouse program St. Thomas Aquinas, pledged to play for OSU on Saturday.

Listed at 6-feet, 180 pounds, Lyle is rated 4-stars, the No. 27 running back, No. 49 Florida recruit and No. 320 prospect overall nationally. He committed to Ohio State over offers from 28 other schools.
