Michigan State has dealt with a flurry of transfer portal entries from key players over the weekend. That included a trio of players with starting experience in QB Payton Thorne, WR Keon Coleman and DB Charles Brantley.

As of Tuesday morning, one of those players is reportedly staying put and coming out of the portal to remain with the Spartans. According to Matt Charboneau with The Detroit News, Brantley has withdrawn from the portal.

As is always the case with the portal, players can withdraw so the door remains open for Thorne and Coleman to also return to the Spartans. As of this writing, there has not been any news on a potential decision from those two players.

During the 2022 season, Brantley led the Spartans with 6 pass breakups while starting 11 games. He also added 48 tackles, 2 TFL a sack and an interception.
