Notre Dame has unveiled an incredible uniform combination that honors one of the most prolific eras in program history.
Friday night, the Fighting Irish released its uniform combination for Saturday’s game against Navy. The helmet — which resembles the leather lid look from the 1920s-30s — was released earlier this week. But Notre Dame has now unveiled images of the full uniform.
It’s an absolutely incredible look for the Irish.
I like these #NotreDame Rockne unis today, especially the throwback leather style helmet. This is a good look for them. pic.twitter.com/1ZaAkVXv5M

Notre Dame doesn’t venture out of its traditional look to frequently but this is an excellent tribute to Rockne and that era of the program’s history.
The Fighting Irish will sport these uniforms against Navy at 3:30 ET and the game will be aired on NBC.
Even if you’re not a fan of Notre Dame, it might be worth flipping the channel over for just a few minutes to check out how these uniforms look on the field.
