Northwestern running back Justin Jackson entered Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers 30 yards shy of 5,000 career rushing yards. And it didn’t take him long to eclipse the mark, as he busted off a 41 yard run early in the first quarter.

With that run, Jackson became just the sixth back in B1G history to rush for more than 5,000 yards. The other backs are as followed:
- Wisconsin’s Ron Dayne
- Ohio State’s Archie Griffin
- Indiana’s Anthony Thompson
- Wisconsin’s Montee Ball
- Michigan’s Mike Hart
That is one stellar group to join. Hats off to Jackson to already an incredible career.
