Kirks released his top 5 on Friday, and it includes a pair of Big Ten powers: Wisconsin and Nebraska. He’s also still considering Kentucky, Washington and Pittsburgh.

Here’s his announcement:

He’s from Cleveland, Ohio. Kirks is listed at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds.

Kirks took his official visit to Wisconsin last weekend:

Wisconsin is off to a good start in the class of 2024 under new head coach Luke Fickell. The Badgers have 14 commits and own the nation’s No. 14-ranked class, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Nebraska is still trying to build momentum in this cycle under Matt Rhule’s staff. The Huskers have 9 commitments so far. The group ranks No. 37 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
