Draymond Green is set to become a free agent this offseason after declining a player option with the Golden State Warriors. Predictions are starting to come out about his next destination if he chooses not to re-sign with the Warriors.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst went on ‘Get Up’ on Monday to talk about where fans could see Green play next season if the former Michigan State star doesn’t return to the Warriors. Windhorst believes that the Detroit Pistons or Sacramento Kings could be potential suitors for Green.

“There are some with teams with cap space that are intriguing options for Green,” said Windhorst. “The Detroit Pistons, which would be home. The Kings have opened up cap space after a draft night deal. Both of those teams would have interest in him, but I don’t think that either are compelling enough to have him leave the Warriors.”

Green averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists for Golden State last season. The Warriors went on to lose to the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Playoffs in Game 6 of the series.

A return to Michigan would be interesting to see for Green. Green played college basketball at Michigan State.

If Green ends up going to the Kings, he would be staying in the same side of the conference.
