One thing that fans have been able to rely on when it comes to Ohio State is its receivers. PFF’s Max Chadwick thinks so too.
Ohio State’s receiving room was ranked as the best among those in college football. PFF ranked the top 10 receiving corps in the sport.
With Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka leading the way in Columbus the future is looking bright, even if a new quarterback will be throwing to them in 2023. Whoever C.J. Stroud’s successor is should have some solid targets to pick from.

Stroud was taken by the Houston Texans in the 2023 NFL Draft with the second-overall pick.
Harrison and Egbuka shined in the absence of Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Smith-Njigba missed the majority of last season with a hamstring injury. Harrison and Egbuka picked up the slack and combined for 2,414 yards receiving.
Smith-Njigba was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of this year’s draft with the 20th overall pick.
Here is how the rest of the list stacked up:
- No. 1: Ohio State
- No. 2: Texas
- No. 3: Washington

- No. 5: Florida State
- No. 6: USC
