Ohio State made a big addition to its 2024 recruiting class on Thursday afternoon.
The Buckeyes picked up a commitment from 4-star cornerback Miles Lockhart. The Arizona native also had offers from programs such as Texas A&M, Washington and Wisconsin, amongst others.

Lockhart is an elite cornerback prospect. He’s the No. 365 overall player and the No. 33 cornerback in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 8 player from Arizona.
He attends Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona. He’s listed at 5-foot-10, 185 pounds.
Lockhart initially picked up an offer from Ohio State back in June of 2022. He took an official visit to Columbus last month prior to making his final decision.
Ohio State now has 18 commits in the class of 2024. The group includes 3 defensive backs. Ohio State has the No. 2-ranked class in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
