Michigan State added to its 2024 class on Friday with an in-state prospect on Friday. The funny thing is that the recruit is already familiar with the Spartans.

Nick Marsh was committed to Michigan State and actually de-committed back in March. However, he is giving Mel Tucker another chance. Marsh re-committed to Michigan State on social media.

Pitt and Penn State were also in the running for Marsh.

Marsh is a 4-star wideout and a native of River Rouge, Michigan. He is the No. 16 WR and No. 3 prospect from Michigan in the 2024 class per the 247Sports Composite. 247Sports list him at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds.

Michigan, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin were the other B1G schools who showed interest in Marsh.

Marsh took plenty of visits after de-committing from the Spartans. He went to Kansas (Jun. 15), Penn State (Jun. 9), Pitt (Jun. 2), and then took another visit to Michigan State on Jun. 23.

Marsh is the second player to commit to Michigan State in the last couple of days. The Spartans also picked up a commitment from Justin Denson on Tuesday.

Michigan State had a disappointing 5-7 season in 2022 after reaching the Peach Bowl in 2021. The Spartans will have a chance to forget about last year with their season opener against Central Michigan on Sept. 1.
