Gatlin Bair is almost ready to make his college commitment.

Bair will announce his decision on August 5, he shared Thursday afternoon. He’s a longtime Michigan target and one of the top receivers in the country for this cycle.

Here are the details:

Bair is an elite prospect nationally. He’s the No. 40 overall player and the No. 10 wide receiver in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from Idaho.

Bair attends Burley Senior High School in Burley, Idaho. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds.

He took an official visit to Ann Arbor earlier this summer. He also visited Oregon and TCU last month. His other offers include Alabama, Georgia and Florida, amongst others.

Michigan currently has 26 commitments in the class of 2024, including 2 from wide receivers. The group sits at No. 4 nationally, according too 247Sports Composite rankings.
