Zion Grady is over a year from signing to play college football, but he’s already narrowing the focus of his recruitment. Grady, the top edge defender in the Class of 2025, named his top 10 teams.

As one might expect, the Troy, Alabama native is showing a strong interest in playing in the SEC. Michigan and USC, though, have him considering the B1G. Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas are also in the mix to land Grady’s commitment.

A standout at Charles Henderson High School, Grady’s listed measurements are 6-4, 220 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Grady is rated 5-stars, the No. 1 edge defender, No. 3 recruit in the state of Alabama and No. 16 prospect overall in the 2025 recruiting class.

Michigan and USC are relatively recent entrants into the race for Grady. The Wolverines extended a scholarship offer in April. The Trojans followed in May.

Grady’s recruitment looks to be one of the most followed nationally, especially once the 2024 class is signed and the focus shifts to the Class of 2025. Fans can see why Grady is already a top prospect by checking out his sophomore season highlights below, via Hudl:
