Former Ohio State DB Eli Apple has a new NFL team. Apple is reportedly on the move to Miami.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Apple is signing a 1-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. The club is looking for some secondary help with Jalen Ramsey sidelined for the next few months.

Apple has been in the NFL since 2016. After ending his championship Ohio State career with All-B1G recognition in 2015, he was selected No. 10 overall by the New York Giants. Over the last few years, Apple has been on the move a few times.

The Giants traded Apple to the New Orleans Saints during the 2018 season. Ahead of the 2020 season, he signed with the Carolina Panthers. Apple spent the past 2 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Over 7 seasons, Apple has played in 81 regular-season games (71 starts), recording 307 tackles and 45 passes defended with 5 interceptions.
