Dobbins was surely excited to get back to the grind, and Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is also relieved for his return.
“He’s excited. We’re all excited,” Harbaugh told reporters. “He’s 100% healthy.”
The news of being 100% healthy will come as a relief to Ravens fans, as Dobbins has struggled with injury for most of his NFL career. In his three years in the league, Dobbins has missed 27 games while playing just 24. After seeing action in every game his rookie year, Dobbins suffered a torn ACL ahead of the 2021 season and was unable to suit up.
In 2022, he rushed for 427 yards and a touchdown in seven games, helping lead the Ravens offense as they adjusted to the loss of Lamar Jackson, who was sidelined with an injury.
Now the Ravens head into the 2023 season with a newfound energy in their offense and they are sure to be a contender in the AFC.
