Michigan State makes final 3 for elite 2024 OL out of California

DeAndre Carter is getting ready to make his college decision. After picking up 28 scholarship offers, the blue-chip lineman from California is down to 3 contenders to land his commitment next month.

Michigan State made the final 3 for Carter. The Spartans are competing with Auburn and Texas for Carter’s verbal pledge, which he will announce on Sept. 3.

A Mater Dei standout, Carter’s listed measurements are 6-4, 340 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Carter is rated 4-stars, the No. 3 interior offensive lineman, No. 14 recruit in the state of California and No 101 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

MSU hosted Carter for an on-campus visit in June. He offered Spartan fans a preview of how he looks in green and white.
