After navigating his way through some trouble with the NCAA this offseason, Jim Harbaugh is finally able to focus on fall camp. Although the case against Harbaugh is still ongoing, he’s expected to coach in every game this fall for the Wolverines.
Thus, the head coach is fairly excited. After all, this 2023 group may be the best team Harbaugh has fielded in Ann Arbor, and the Wolverines appear to be practicing like it.
“This is vibrant. That’s my word. I can’t get that word out of my head,” Harbaugh said in a fall camp press conference. “That best describes the vibe and mentality, and it’s infectious.”

With the likes of Blake Corum (RB), Donovan Edwards (RB), J.J. McCarthy (QB), Junior Colson (LB) and Zak Zinter (OL) all returning for another run at the Big Ten Championship and College Football Playoff, Harbaugh’s “vibrant” attitude may continue well into the season.
The Wolverines, who were ranked No. 2 in the preseason AP Poll, will open the season with a home game against East Carolina on Sept. 2.
