Paul Finebaum reacts to Jim Harbaugh’s suspension: ‘This should be enough’

Paul Finebaum recently weighed in on the suspension for Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and the ESPN analyst believes it’s a fair punishment.
During an appearance on SportsCenter, Finebaum gave his take on the 3-game suspension that Harbaugh will serve to begin the 2023 campaign.
Michigan provided a self-imposed sanction for situations allegedly pertaining to impermissible contact with recruits during dead periods and the use of a defensive analyst for on-field coaching.
“Michigan made the right decision to go ahead and push this forward. This should’ve already been adjudicated by now….Quite frankly, this should be enough. Nothing should have happened. These were minor allegations years ago,” Finebaum said. “If Jim Harbaugh had said ‘Yeah, I did it’, this would’ve been over with. But of course, Jim Harbaugh never does stuff like that.”
Harbaugh is still allowed to coach during practice at this time, but is barred from doing so during the home contests vs. East Carolina, UNLV, and Bowling Green.
Harbaugh will be eligible to return when Michigan hosts Rutgers on Sept. 23.
