James Franklin felt really good about his offensive line in a recent interview. The Penn State HC talked about the talent at O-line at Wednesday’s press conference.
There is plenty of talent to go around on the Penn State offensive line. Franklin noted how especially talented veteran Olu Fashanu is. Franklin stated that it starts up front with both sides of the ball.
“It’s starts up front on both sides of the ball,” said Franklin.

Franklin had some more praise for another one of his offensive linemen. Franklin called J.B. Nelson “our most physical offensive lineman” while talking about the respect the Penn State OL has earned. Franklin believes Nelson will be a strong part of the line.

Fans will be hoping to see a full-season’s worth of games from Fashanu. Fashanu played in eight games last season due to a leg injury he suffered during the Ohio State game.
Nelson appeared in four games in 2022, but his role should grow more this year.
It looks like the offensive line will still be a big part of the offense in Happy Valley.
