Although some Ohio State players and coaches tweeted their frustration about not making the College Football Playoff this season, head coach Urban Meyer has no hard feelings toward the selection committee for not putting the Buckeyes in the top-4.
On Sunday, Meyer did an interview on ESPN’s College Football Playoff Selection Show. In the interview, Meyer acknowledged Ohio State’s 31-point loss to Iowa, which ultimately kept the Buckeyes out of the playoff according to CFP Chairman Kirby Hocutt.
Meyer said on ESPN that the lopsided Iowa loss was what kept them out. Not that this is news, but he acknowledged it. He didn’t really criticize the committee.

Now, some teams could be hung up on not making the playoff. But that’s not Ohio State’s plan. The Buckeyes are going to move forward and try to win the Cotton Bowl against the USC Trojans to send the seniors out on a good note.
Meyer on ESPN says the key is move forward and win the bowl game for the seniors.
