Former Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier leaves Monday Night Football game with serious injury

There was a scary moment involving for Ohio State and current Pittsburgh linebacker Ryan Shazier during the Steelers’ Monday Night Football game against Cincinnati.

Early in the game, Shazier went for a tackle on a Bengals player running with the football. After the hit, Shazier didn’t move and had to be tended to on the field. Unable to leave on his own power, Shazier had to be carted off the field.

Here’s a brief clip of the hit.

There was no confirmation on the type of injury Shazier sustained.

After Shazier was carted off, several people on social media offered prayers and well wishes hoping the linebacker’s injury isn’t too serious.

Well wishes go out to Shazier. Hopefully he will be OK.
