Wildcat woes: Fans on social media call out Northwestern for being a ‘disaster’

Northwestern is really struggling, y’all.
The Wildcats trail Rutgers 17-0 at the end of the first half, and it should be worse than that if Rutgers’ kicker hadn’t missed a chip shot to end the 2nd quarter.
Now, nobody expected Northwestern to be good this season. Especially after Pat Fitzgerald was fired for his part in a hazing scandal that was uncovered a month ago. But the Wildcats have not been able to make anything happen thus far.
Northwestern has just 112 total yards as the 2nd half kicks off on CBS.
Fans across the country took to social media to call out Northwestern, laugh at Northwestern; whatever you want to call it Sunday afternoon.
Check out some of the best responses:
It’s going to be a loooooong year for Northwestern.

The only thing Northwestern had to do was get to the locker room without making things worse.

Only Northwestern would have a fake punt to end just shy of a first down pic.twitter.com/l35xhz7J5r

Northwestern might not win a single game.
And I’m well aware they play UTEP and Howard.

Northwestern may not score a point all season.
Except against us when they will magically turn in to the Dallas Cowboys
