As expected, it’s all Penn State on Saturday. The Nittany Lions lead the Blue Hens 35-7 at the half. Keeno Arrington had a solo tackle in the first half.
LaVar Arrington played linebacker at Penn State from 1997-to-1999. He had a decorated college career, being named first-team All-Big Ten and All-American in back-to-back seasons over his final 2 years. He also won the Butkus Award and Chuck Bednarik Award in 1999.
The Washington franchise selected the elder Arrington No. 2 overall in the 2000 NFL Draft. Arrington would play in the NFL until 2006, being named All-Pro twice (2001, ’03) and being selected to the Pro Bowl 3 times (2001-03).
