College GameDay host and former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit is keeping a close eye on a former Buckeye currently in his rookie season of the NFL.
New Orleans Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore was a first team All-B1G performer last year in Columbus. And this year, he seems like a lock for the All-Rookie team down in the Bayou. Lattimore has recorded 39 tackles, three interceptions and 10 passes defended in his first campaign. But it was his play against Atlanta wide receiver Julio Jones on Thursday night that earned him praise from Herbstreit.
How good is this young man!!?? Rookie year looking like a perennial pro bowler!! So skilled—so well prepared—such a competitor!! Just gettin started too! https://t.co/DBrzBOPkMl

Lattimore held Jones to only three receptions in Thursday’s loss and continues to emerge as one of the NFL’s brightest young talents.
With the way Lattimore has been playing, he will be a pro bowler in no time.
