Nico Ragaini drops extremely NSFW comments on controversial no-call vs. Iowa State

Nico Ragaini and Iowa were able to reclaim the Cy-Hawk Trophy in a Week 2 win over Iowa State.
In that game, Ragaini was held to 2 catches for 8 yards with the Hawkeyes limited to just 123 yards in the passing game. However, the veteran wide receiver took issue with one no-call that led to an interception by the Iowa State defense.
At a weekly press conference, Ragaini was asked if he felt the defender should have been flagged for pass interference. Needless to say, he was not worried about speaking his mind.
“Was it pass interference? Yeah, you know what, I feel like: What, is the NCAA or Big Ten gonna fine me if I say that’s a horse(bleep) (bleeping) call or what? Yeah, I don’t know,” said Ragaini. “I probably shouldn’t have dropped an F-bomb in there but (bleeped), Jesus. It’s whatever.”
Ragaini was then asked if the officials were allowing more contact and hand-fighting during the game. The receiver didn’t see that particular play as “hand fighting” but said the main thing is trying to fight through whatever contact comes in football.
“I don’t know if you would consider that hand fighting. I don’t know, we’re taught to fight through it because it’s football,” Ragaini explained. “There’s holding on every play, I’m sure our line holds on every play. Just gotta fight through it and try and contest the catch. Ball don’t lie, we got the pick-6 on the next play.”
To anyone who would like to view Ragaini’s comments, they can be seen in the video below. Just be cautioned, they are NSFW:
I’m a big fan of when players/coaches speak their mind, don’t act like robots, even if others may not agree. Iowa 6th yr Senior WR Nico Ragaini was not happy with the ‘no call’ pass interference vs ISU that resulted in an interception. NSFW. pic.twitter.com/h2OfT0xOPB
