Former Michigan defensive back Keith Washington has made a decision on where he’ll finish his college football career.

Tuesday afternoon, Washington announced that he had committed to West Virginia University, where he’ll be immediately eligible for the 2018 season. He still has three years of eligibility remaining.

Washington made the announcement via Twitter.

A 6-foot-2, 170-pound defensive back, Washington left Michigan prior to the start of the 2017 season and landed at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi. He did not provide an explanation for his reason to leave the program.

Washington played in nine games for the Wolverines in 2016, totaling just three tackles. At Copiah Lincoln Community College, he had 20 tackles and two interceptions while playing in nine games.

Washington is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports.
