Micah Parsons shines in dominant outing for Dallas defense

Micah Parsons had a dominant showing for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. The former Penn State Nittany Lion collected 2 sacks, 3 tackles for loss, 1 pass defended, a forced fumble and recovery, and 4 QB hits.

The massive performance helped the Cowboys walk out with a 30-10 victory and improve to 2-0 on the season.

Parsons had an impressive couple of seasons for the Nittany Lions. The linebacker collected 6.5 sacks, 18 tackles for loss, and 191 tackles in his college career.

The talented defender was the 12th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Cowboys and has been one of the best playmakers in the league since then. Parsons racked up 26.5 sacks through his first 2 seasons in the league, earning First-Team AP All-Pro honors both seasons.

On Sunday against the Jets, Parsons’ Cowboys held the Jets to just 215 total yards of offense.
