Kirk Herbstreit reveals updated top 4 after Week 3

Kirk Herbstreit has a pair of Big Ten teams in his top 7 after Week 3 of the college football season.
The ESPN analyst slots Michigan at No. 2 behind only Georgia and ahead of Texas and Florida State in his top 4. Then in his next 3, Herbstreit shows loves to his alma mater Ohio State, as well as including USC and Washington.

Michigan improved to 3-0 with a 31-6 victory vs. Bowling Green despite an uneven performance from quarterback J.J. McCarthy. McCarthy completed 8 of his 13 passes for 143 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.
Running back Blake Corum rushed for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns. Cornelius Johnson and Roman Wilson each caught touchdown receptions.
Ohio State is now 3-0 after a 63-10 rout against Western Kentucky. Kyle McCord completed 19 of his 23 passes for 318 yards and 3 touchdowns. TreVeyon Henderson rushed for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns. Marvin Harrison Jr. caught 5 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown. Tommy Eichenburg led Ohio State with 10 total tackles.
Next up for Michigan is its Big Ten opener against visiting Rutgers on Sept. 23 (12 p.m. EST/Big Ten Network). Meanwhile, Ohio State heads to Notre Dame on Sept. 23 (7:30 p.m. EST/NBC) for one of the most intriguing matchups of Week 4.
