On Thursday, Footballscoop.com reported that Penn State defensive coordinator Brent Pry interviewed for the open head coaching job at Louisiana-Lafayette. SI’s Bruce Feldman even reported that Pry emerged as the favorite for the position as well. However, he is staying put in Happy Valley for the foreseeable future.

According to 247 Sports, Arizona State offensive coordinator Billy Napier has been offered the job over Pry.
Pry and the Nittany Lions are now preparing for the Fiesta Bowl against Washington.
