Nebraska adds 2024 commitment from ATH out of Texas

Nebraska has picked up a new commitment from a 2-sport athlete out of Texas.
JD Crisp out of Houston has pledged to play football and baseball for the Huskers. On the gridiron, Crisp is described as an ATH who can play receiver or defensive back.
Crisp announced his verbal pledge to Matt Rhule’s program with a social media post.

A standout of Second Baptist High School, Crisp’s listed measurements are 6-feet and 190 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Crisp is rated 3-stars, the No. 108 safety, No. 163 recruit in the Lone Star State and No. 1,122 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.
Nebraska is the most recent team to extend a scholarship offer to Crisp, bringing his total to 7. He chose the Huskers over Iowa, service academies and others.
