Ohio State is feeling pretty good about itself after beating Notre Dame in South Bend 17-14.

The Buckeyes announced their Players of the Game after Saturday’s heroics. Kyle McCord, Tyleik Williams, and Jesse Mirco all took home honors.

McCord didn’t score any touchdowns, but made plays when it counted in a hostile road environment. He finished with 240 yards passing and was named Ohio State’s Offensive Player of the Game.

Williams made things tough for Sam Hartman and was the Defensive Player of the Game. Williams had 4 quarterback hurries, 1 pass break up, 2 tackles for loss, and 4 total tackles.

Last, but not least was the Special Teams Player of the Game. That honor went to punter Jesse Mirco. Mirco pinned the Notre Dame offense inside the 20 two times in the win. He also had a long for the game of 42 yards.

Ohio State has a bye week before moving on to a B1G opponent in Week 6. The Buckeyes face Maryland next on Oct. 7.
