Mark Dantonio pleased with class, but said there’s room for improvement

Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio is known for being one of the best B1G coaches at developing and getting the most out of his recruits.
The Spartans currently have four four-star recruits committed, including quarterback Theo Day, who Dantonio said will enroll early.
Day is a pro-style quarterback and from the state of Michigan.
Dantonio on Theo Day: “Dynamic talent” and is “calm.” Compares to Lewerke, he says.

Although Dantonio spoke highly of his class, he said he and his coaches still have some work to do before the February signing day arrives.
Dantonio said DL “would be a great find right now” as MSU could add a few more players of specific need areas to add to class by Feb. signing day. Seven of the 20 signees will enroll early.
