Michigan State LB, key starter listed as out for season in latest status report

Michigan State LB Jacoby Windmon was one of the many players listed as out for the Iowa game on Saturday.

There may be no player more important to the Spartans defense who will be out than Windmon. The report didn’t include the details on what exact injury Windmon has suffered.

Windmon was listed as out for the season on the injury report.

The other players who are out include Chuck Brantley, Jaren Mangham, Jarrett Jackson, Armorion Smith, Jordan Simmons, Marqui Lowery, Khalil Majeed, Dre Butler, Keyshawn Blackstock, and Geno VanDeMark. Smith is also out for the season with an injury.

Michigan State will be looking to end a two-game losing streak in Week 5. The Spartans are coming off of brutal losses to Washington and Maryland in the last two weeks.

Windmon has played in three games this season. He recorded 15 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 sack from those games.
