Urban Meyer bestowed some coaching wisdom after Ohio State and Maryland were tied at 10 going into halftime.
Meyer first talked about what Ohio State needs to do to pull away from the Terps. The Buckeyes have not done a good job of controlling the line of scrimmage, according to Meyer. That will need to change for Ohio State to win in his eyes.
“The line of scrimmage has been lost in the first half,” said Meyer. “That’s gotta change fast.”

Meyer gave Maryland a perfect game management grade until the pick-6 in the first half. Mike Locksley did a good job of keeping the football away from the Ohio State offense. Winning the time of possession could be key for Maryland down the stretch.
“One thing: I thought the game management by Maryland up until that pick-6, I graded it perfect. They were in 3rd down and short 5 downs,” said Meyer. “They’ve kept the ball, they’ve kept the clock, kept it away from Marvin Harrison Jr. Then, the pick-6 and that last drive.”
The battle of undefeated teams in the B1G East will be settled in the second half. Can Ohio State pull away in the second half or will Maryland pull off the upset?
