ESPN’s SP+ is breaking down the Week 7 slate of college football, including a final score outcome for the matchup between Michigan State and Rutgers. That B1G East matchup could feature some wet weather conditions and two programs fighting to get back in the win column.
The Spartans continue to slide and hit the bye week with a 2-3 overall record and continue to look for a spark after the suspension and eventual firing of Mel Tucker. As for the Scarlet Knights, Greg Schiano’s program is 4-2 on the season and in search of a bowl game but coming off a loss to Wisconsin.
As for the SP+, the system has Rutgers with a 56% win probability for the game and a projected final score of 24-22. This one should be a nail-biter, and fans hoping to get in on the action can use the unique DraftKings Michigan promo code to get started!

The head-to-head series has been dominated by Michigan State, but last season’s match came down to the wire. Michigan State held on for a 27-21 win in East Lansing during the 2022 season, but Rutgers could be primed to upset the series on Saturday.
