ESPN’s College GameDay crew kicked off the Week 7 Saturday of college football with analysis and picks for some of the major games on the schedule. That includes the Heartland Trophy rivalry matchup between Iowa and Wisconsin in Madison.

In recent matchups, the home team has dominated the rivalry between the Badgers and Hawkeyes. That would appear to tilt this year’s matchup in Wisconsin’s favor for the showdown in Madison.

The majority of the College GameDay crew went with Luke Fickell’s squad in the matchup in what could be a low-scoring affair. Here are the full picks:

Desmond Howard: Wisconsin. “I think it’ll be a low-scoring game, I think Wisconsin will take over in the 4th.”

Pat McAfee: Wisconsin. “(Iowa) couldn’t complete a pass to a WR, give me Wisconsin.”

Joel McHale: Iowa. “Iowa vs. Wisconsin, I’m gonna say Oregon’s going to lose that game, too. I’m going to go with Iowa is going to win because they wear those wrestling singlets everywhere.”

Lee Corso: Wisconsin. “The game’s in Madison, right? Wisconsin.”

Kirk Herbstreit: Wisconsin. “The breakdown is the defense of Wisconsin will be the difference. Iowa can’t throw the football, especially without Cade McNamara.”
