Braelon Allen is one of the top running backs in the B1G. He leads the conference in rushing yards per game with the highest average gain per carry.

And he’s been able to showcase that talent in a few different ways this season. Handoff, pitch, swing, to Allen it simply doesn’t matter.

That’s what he said during Tuesday’s episode of “The Journey” from Big Ten Network, which highlighted Allen’s transition to new OC Phil Longo’s offensive system, which places more of an emphasis on an air attack.

But that doesn’t mean Allen has been nullified within the Badgers offense. Quite the opposite, actually.

Check out the segment with Allen explaining the transition below:

Allen will be important to Wisconsin’s success now more than ever, too. The standout RB is without Chez Mellusi by his side for the remainder of the season, and QB Tanner Mordecai suffered a hand injury in Saturday’s loss to Iowa.

The Badgers aren’t out quite yet though. Wisconsin takes on Illinois this Saturday in an important B1G West showdown.
