Ohio State unveils new LeBron James cleats ahead of the top-10 showdown with Penn State

LeBron James dropped some fresh new cleats for No. 3 Ohio State before the Week 8 clash against visiting No. 7 Penn State.

Ohio State revealed the snazzy kicks prior to the matchup against the Nittany Lions.

The NBA legend from Akron, Ohio went straight from high school to the pros but has remained an avid fan of the Buckeyes. James is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, a 4-time NBA champion, 19-time All-Star, and member of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team.

Ohio State is coming off a 41-7 victory at Purdue last weekend. Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord passed for 276 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Ohio State’s defense limited Purdue to 257 total yards and 3-for-17 on 3rd down conversions.

Penn State most recently routed UMass 63-0 last weekend. Penn State quarterback Drew Allar went 16-for-23 with 162 yards, 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Penn State limited UMass to 109 total yards, with only 45 passing yards.

Ohio State leads the all-time series 23-14 against Penn State. Ohio State has won 6 consecutive games in the series. In last season’s matchup, Ohio State defeated Penn State 44-31 in State College. Penn State’s last victory was a 24-21 win in 2016.

Penn State at Ohio State is slated for a 12 p.m. EST kickoff and will be televised on FOX.
