Nebraska is slowly getting the 2023 season on the right track as the team is currently 4-3. Since the blowout loss to Michigan, the Cornhuskers have won 2 consecutive games against Illinois and Northwestern.

Purdue is currently 2-5 on the season and has lost four of its last five games. In the Boilermakers’ last game against Ohio State, Purdue lost 41-7.

Heading into Week 9, the matchup between Purdue and Nebraska is a pretty even game on paper, and that is what the spread is showing as well. The Cornhuskers are 1-point favorites at home per the opening line from Circa Sports that was released on Sunday.

An over/under of 43.5 points was also released for the game, so it could be a back-and-forth affair on the field. Fans can head to BetMGM to get in on the weekly action!

The Cornhuskers are currently 2-2 in the B1G West and are tied for 3rd with Minnesota. Purdue, on the other hand, is 1-3 and tied for 5th with Northwestern.

When these two teams played last year, it was an absolute thriller in West Lafayette, as the Boilermakers won, 43-37. Purdue had 608 yards of total offense, while the Cornhuskers had 476.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 pm ET and the game will be aired on FS1.
