Donaven McCulley and Indiana were massive underdogs heading into Week 9 vs. Penn State. However, somebody forgot to tell the Hoosiers they were supposed to be struggling.

In the first quarter, DeQuece Carter put Indiana on the board with a massive 90-yard touchdown against Penn State. Now in the second quarter, McCulley came up with another lightning strike against the Nittany Lions.

This time, the throw to McCulley came as Penn State sent a cornerback blitz. The coverage in the secondary did not rotate, and McCulley was left wide open down the sideline.

The big wide receiver was able to outrace the defenders down the sideline and covered 69 yards in the score:

QB Brendan Sorsby has completed just 3 passes in the game, but 2 of them have contributed to deep bomb touchdowns. Sorsby is 3-for-6 for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns so far in Week 9.
