Ohio State opens as considerable road favorite over Rutgers

Ohio State opened as a 19-point road favorite over upset-minded Rutgers Sunday afternoon.
The Buckeyes are looking to remain undefeated on the season while Rutgers looks to continue an excellent start to the year. The Scarlet Knights are 6-2 and playing their best football since the late 2010s right now.
But now is when the rubber meets the road for the Scarlet Knights. Gavin Wimsatt is playing solid football right now, but will have to continue doing so against the best the conference has to offer. Ohio State, Penn State, Iowa and Maryland are all upcoming for Greg Schiano’s squad.
But Ohio State has showed it is vulnerable this season, especially offensively. Truth be told, a better offensive unit would have really danced with the Buckeyes last night, even with Ohio State’s lethal defense. Instead, Wisconsin kept tripping over itself and fell, 24-10.
The Buckeyes and Scarlet Knights will kick off at Noon on CBS from Piscataway this upcoming Saturday.
